DESCRIPTION:Her Table is a shared meal that provides an opportunity for women to connect over good food and meaningful conversation. Dinner\, babysitting\, and all materials will be provided. Friends are always welcome! \nWorkshop Topic: Healthy Relationships \nJoin us for Her Table on October 16th\, as we dive into the keys to building and sustaining healthier\, more fulfilling relationships that stand the test of time. Whether you’re in a long-term relationship or exploring new connections\, this workshop inspired by the wisdom of John Gottman will equip you with the tools to nurture your emotional well-being\, foster stronger connections\, and achieve a greater sense of resilience in the face of life’s challenges. \nFacilitator: Teresa Bethany\, LMFT \nWe’re honored to have our own Teresa Bethany join us to facilitate this Her Table! Born and raised in San Antonio\, TX\, Teresa Bethany earned her Master’s in Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. For the past six years\, she worked in a nonviolence program leading both individual and group sessions focusing on ending generational family violence patterns. As our full-time on-site therapist\, she helps women in our program by providing individual counseling\, facilitating therapy groups\, and leading restorative workshops. \nDinner: Provided by The Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women \nVegetarian options will be available.
