SUMMARY:Financial Literacy Workshop: Building Financial Slack
DESCRIPTION:The Credit Human Park Ten Financial Health Center team is presenting a series of workshops geared towards financial health. Topics include building financial slack\, credit\, debt management\, changes in income\, changes in marital status\, and more. Attendees will gain insight into financial stability and sustainability\, as well as financial literacy on a variety of topics. \nOur first workshop will introduce the concept of financial slack and review topics related to financial health. This inital workshop will review money attitudes and motivations\, measuring financial well-being\, and setting financial goals.  \nFacilitator: Credit Human \nIn addition to providing traditional financial services\, Credit Human is committed to investing time and resources within the community\, striving to understand the unique needs of the people. Credit Human’s vision is communities free of financial stress\, and its mission is to help people create and maintain financial slack.  The overarching goal for community engagement is to construct enduring relationships founded upon trust\, respect\, and unwavering loyalty\, embodying the role of conscientious stewards and supportive neighbors in the communities that unite us.  \nThe Park Ten Financial Health Center team is excited about the opportunity to build new relationships in the community and is committed to creating a lasting impact. Each member of the team is a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor that works directly with community members to help them build and maintain financial slack.
