DESCRIPTION:For Her is excited to partner with Levantatech for the Digital Confidence Workshop Series! This series is designed for women who are ready to take control of their digital world in a supportive\, hands-on environment. Over three sessions\, we’ll build the tech skills and confidence you need to unlock educational and employment opportunities while keeping your personal information safe. Plus\, everyone who completes two of the three workshops will walk away with a free Chromebook laptop! \nTime to become your own tech guru! In this final installment of the Digital Confidence Workshop Series\, we’re creating your personal roadmap for digital success and getting real about what holds us back from feeling confident with technology. Through honest self-assessments and hands-on planning\, you’ll figure out exactly where you are with tech skills and map out where you want to go next. This isn’t just about learning new tricks; it’s about building the confidence to tackle whatever new app\, platform\, or digital challenge comes your way. You’ll leave knowing you can handle whatever the tech world throws at you! \nFacilitator: Dr. Caitlin Walker\, Levantatech \nBorn and raised in the Rio Grande Valley\, Dr. Caitlin C. Walker (Dr. C) has supported under-resourced communities in Texas for over a decade. SUMMARY:Her Healing: Survivor Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Her Healing offers group counseling for adult survivors of family violence and abuse. In this supportive space\, group members work together to process emotions\, share lived experiences\, and learn therapeutic tools for healing and moving forward. Facilitated by the counseling team at OnHealing Therapy\, topics will include safety planning\, healthy relational communication\, co-parenting tools\, and more. \nSessions will be held at the For Her community center every Thursday evening from 6:00-7:30 PM through December. This is an open group format\, and friends are welcome. We provide free on-site childcare\, snacks\, and drinks. Feel free to bring your own dinner if you’d like. \nFor Her Code of Conduct
