SUMMARY:Her Circle: Single Moms
DESCRIPTION:Her Circle: Single Moms is a bi-weekly peer support group created to foster deep connection\, shared healing\, and collective empowerment for single moms. Rooted in the belief that healing happens in community\, this circle offers a safe and welcoming space where moms can come as they are\, be seen and heard\, and know they are not alone.  \nJoin us for the last gathering of this group for the spring semester. This week we’re joined by Patricia Richardson to dive into all about financial health. \nChildcare will be offered for this session. \n  \nLed by Latisha Pean with guest speaker Patricia Richardson \nLatisha Pean is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment\, with a deep commitment to supporting mothers as they navigate life’s challenges and reclaim their identity beyond caregiving. As a single mom herself\, she brings authenticity\, empathy\, and lived experience to every space she leads. With a background in career coaching and community support\, Latisha creates environments where women feel seen\, supported\, and equipped to grow—personally\, emotionally\, and professionally. Her work is rooted in the belief that healing and self-sufficiency begin with connection and community. \nPatricia Richardson is a community leader\, author\, and financial and career coach\, and founder of EmpowerHub. With over 30 years of public speaking experience and a background as a former Child Protection Worker\, she combines professional expertise with lived experience to empower families through financial literacy\, safety\, and self-sufficiency. She authored the Journal to Budget of Success Workbook\, a practical guide to financial empowerment. Grounded in social work\, Patricia brings strengths in leadership\, facilitation\, and cultural competence. As a Parent Educator and Certified Car Seat Technician\, she delivers holistic\, community-centered programming that helps families build stability and long-term financial security. \nFor Her Code of Conduct
