Walker (Dr. C) has supported under-resourced communities in Texas for over a decade. \nShe founded a social impact coaching and consulting company and has held senior leadership roles in civic engagement\, healthcare\, tech\, and economic development. Whether you’re brand new to investing or have already dabbled in the financial markets\, you’ll leave equipped with the knowledge to start making informed investment decisions. \nFacilitator: Capital Group \nWe’re honored to have Charline Webb\, Olivia Perez\, and Sally Holte from Capital Group join us to facilitate this Her Table! With nearly 50 years of finance experience between them\, our facilitators are eager to share their knowledge and expertise with the For Her community\, demystifying investment for the rest of us. \nCharline Webb is a lead Risk Management and Control Analyst at\nAmerican Funds. For the past 18 years at American Funds\, she has\nserved in multiple roles including Sales Representative\, Sr. Payment\nAdministrator and Compliance Specialist. Charline grew up in New\nHampshire where she graduated St. Anselm College with a bachelor’s\ndegree. Prior to working in the financial industry\, Charline spent 8 years\nin hotel management and later shifted careers and spent 9 years as a\nlitigation paralegal. Throughout Charline’s career\, she has taken\nleadership roles volunteering in the community. She is the leader of the\nWomen’s Community at Capital Group in San Antonio. She has served\nas the Governance Chair on the board for local non-profit Room Redux.\nShe is currently serving on the programming committee of For Her. \nOlivia Perez is currently a Learning Experience Designer at American\nFunds. For the past 10 years at American Funds\, she has served in\nmultiple roles including Client Services Representative\, Advisor\nMarketing\, and National Accounts Administrative Assistant. Olivia\nattained her bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas A&amp;M San Antonio.Throughout Olivia’s career journey she has taken active roles\nvolunteering in DE&amp;I communities. She was Outreach Pillar lead and\nSIFMA Lead for CG Unidos and communication coordinator of the NACG\nWomen’s Community in San Antonio. Olivia is based in San Antonio\,\nTX. \nSally Holte is a Divisional Retirement Plan Counselor with Capital\nGroup covering Texas\, Kansas and Louisiana. She has 18 years of\nfinancial industry experience and has been with Capital for 16 years. She\nstarted her career with Shareholder Services and the Advisor Marketing\nteam. She’s held several roles with our Sales Distribution team as a\nDefined Contribution Retirement Consultant\, Internal Wealth Specialist\ncovering South Florida and Orlando and later worked as a Retirement\nPlan Sales Consultant covering Minnesota\, Nebraska\, and San\nFrancisco. Most recently Sally worked closely with our Sales Force\nDevelopment team as a Sales Coach and with the Southeast Division as\na Site Sales Division Manager. Before joining Capital Group\, Sally was a\nFinancial Coach at Citigroup. During this workshop participants will engage in activities mirroring the Japanese art of Kintsugi\, including acknowledging past hurts\, creating a collage\, and brainstorming ways to transform challenges into strengths. Attendees will have the chance to create art and join a journaling activity inspired by Kintsugi\, reflecting on their healing journey. This session will foster a supportive environment for participants to share insights and personal experience\, focusing on healing\, strength\, and purpose. \nFacilitator: Jae Ricks \nWe’re honored to have Jennipha “Jae” Ricks facilitate this Her Table! DESCRIPTION:Her Healing offers group counseling for adult survivors of family violence and abuse. In this space\, group members work with one another to process emotions\, share lived experiences\, and learn therapeutic tools for healing moving forward. Led by Tanisha Ellis\, For Her’s licensed counselor\, topics will range from safety planning and healthy relational communication to co-parenting tools and more. \nSessions will be held at the For Her community center every Tuesday. Friends are always welcome. Snacks\, drinks\, and onsite babysitting are provided; feel free to bring your own dinner!
