Her Circle: Single Moms

September 28 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Free

Her Circle: Single Moms is a bi-weekly peer support group, created to foster deep connection, shared healing, and collective empowerment for single moms. Rooted in the belief that healing happens in community, this circle offers a safe and welcoming space where moms can come as they are, be seen and heard, and know they are not alone. Each session, moms will gather to engage in guided conversations, interactive activities, and communal storytelling. Together, they will explore real-life topics like identity, self-care, parenting dynamics, financial stability, and love—always with a focus on honesty, encouragement, and sisterhood.

The community center will be closed this evening so stay tuned for the “offsite” location announcement.

Facilitators:

Latisha Pean is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, with a deep commitment to supporting mothers as they navigate life’s challenges and reclaim their identity beyond caregiving. As a single mom herself, she brings authenticity, empathy, and lived experience to every space she leads. With a background in career coaching and community support, Latisha creates environments where women feel seen, supported, and equipped to grow—personally, emotionally, and professionally. Her work is rooted in the belief that healing and self-sufficiency begin with connection and community.

Ariel Nino-Flores is a Property & Casualty Insurance Agent, a proud single mom to her 16-year-old daughter, and a passionate advocate for women. She believes motherhood is one part of a woman’s story, not the entirety of who she is or what she is capable of becoming. As a facilitator, Ariel brings warmth, encouragement, authenticity, and plenty of “you’ve got this!” energy to the community. She is intentional about creating a space where single moms feel seen, supported, and empowered to dream beyond their circumstances. Ariel reminds women that they don’t have to navigate motherhood alone—and that there is always room to grow, explore, and create a life that feels fully their own.

During the group, moms can expect to:

  • Experience a sense of belonging and connection through shared stories and lived experiences
  • Build lasting community with other single moms who understand the unique challenges they face
  • Gain practical tools to navigate everyday stressors and major life transitions
  • Rediscover their voice and identity beyond motherhood
  • Celebrate their resilience, while learning to extend grace to themselves and others

Friends are always welcome.
