What Our Community Members Are Saying

For Her has been a light of hope in a dark season. They have helped me through so many hurdles and truly care about providing a safe space for women, connecting women to community, and empowering women to live authentic and full lives. I'm grateful for all the different opportunities they provide and the hope and healing that I have found here.

I have been receiving support and guidance from FOR HER since 2019. Life has been very challenging with the deaths of both of my parents and my husband, my late stage cancer diagnosis, and overcoming homelessness. The staff and volunteers at FOR HER have helped me when I felt hopeless and loved me when I felt worthless. I really appreciate this non profit. If you meet the criteria, then you understand it’s difficult to get away from the life. These women are trustworthy and they will help.

For Her is a wonderful organization committed to helping women and creating a loving, supportive community. I’m fairly new to the San Antonio area and began coming to For Her to meet with other women and have a shared space to help each other heal trauma, process the obstacles and challenges in our lives and move forward in a positive manner. Everyone has been so welcoming and kind, I admire these women and community for being so brave in coming forward with their life stories and wanting to create positive change. I am so grateful for the resources they provide and the ongoing support that they have given me and I look forward to being able to give that back. Thank you Taryn for being so amazing and positive. Wish this organization all the best.
