For Her aims to break down barriers to upward mobility by providing education, support, and resources for marginalized women aged 18 to 40, who are living or working in San Antonio, Texas, and surrounding areas.

For Her reaches out to women and youth who are most at risk of sexual exploitation and trafficking--including teen mothers, foster youth aging out of the system, women who fall below the poverty line, survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and formerly incarcerated women.

What We Offer

Through our outreach efforts we seek to meet marginalized women and at-risk youth where they live, work, and go to school. We establish connection and trust, offer an invitation into community, and provide access to practical resources and compassionate support.

We have an open door policy at our new community center located at 8546 Broadway. This inviting space offers a safe place for women to rest, access resources, and connect with each other. Whether you are looking to use a computer, attend a workshop, or share a cup of coffee with a friend, you are welcome!

Her Table

Her Table is a large group gathering over a shared meal held on the first Wednesday of each month. Her Table is an opportunity for women to connect and indulge in good food and good conversation.

Crisis Navigation

We help women and at-risk youth who are experiencing a crisis access resources for housing, food, mental health, medical care, legal aid, and other basic needs. Our staff conducts intake to determine a client’s most urgent needs and connects them with the appropriate community partners. Everyone who reaches out for crisis navigation is invited to participate in our programming to receive ongoing support.

Throughout the year For Her offers engaging workshops that feature practical, relevant content. With topics ranging from healthy relationships to digital literacy and entrepreneurship, our workshops give women the knowledge they need to prevent future exploitation and move forward.

Community Education

Through community education we raise awareness about sexual exploitation and trauma and equip the community to better serve marginalized women. Our efforts are focused on giving people language to talk about issues and tools to dismantle damaging frameworks that protect abusers and discredit survivors.

Every dollar you give brings dignity and equity to women in our community.
