Facilitator: Maria Luisa Salinas

Maria Luisa Salinas is a bilingual and bicultural psychotherapist with 30 years of professional experience a various fields. Her work includes helping women, survivors of childhood trauma, family violence, and domestic violence. Her counseling approach is based on an empowerment model. Her main goal is to assist women in healing from emotional wounds and to teach them different ways of understanding and resolving their problems. This includes fostering healthy attitudes and communication skills to better relate to their families, partners, and peers, empowering them to make positive decisions in their lives.

During her free time, Maria Luisa enjoys spending time with her dogs, reading, running, practicing yoga, and traveling with her family. She also enjoys volunteering her time with various organizations to support her community.
