LGBTQ+ Awareness Training with Fiesta Youth
For Her is honored to welcome Fiesta Youth for a powerful LGBTQ+ Awareness Training. Whether you’re part of the queer community or looking to grow as an ally, this session is designed for you.
This customized training will guide participants through essential topics to help create more inclusive and affirming environments, whether in workplaces, organizations, or everyday life. Led by certified instructors, the session encourages open dialogue in a brave space where participants can explore implicit bias, confront stereotypes, and ask meaningful questions.
Topics include:
- Core vocabulary and up-to-date terminology
- Inclusive language practices
- Understanding the coming out process
- How not to out someone
- What it means to be an ally in and outside of work
By sharing knowledge, we can break down barriers and continue building safer, more inclusive communities for all. Training will be held at the For Her community space. Friends are welcome! Snacks and drinks are provided; feel free to bring your own dinner!
Please note we will not have childcare available for this event.
