You’re Worth Knowing: Effectively & Authentically Communicating & Networking in Professional Settings
Modern professional networking and communications take place both in-person and online. In this workshop, we’ll explore how to grow your confidence and skills in communicating why you’re worth knowing wherever the opportunity occurs! This interactive session will include hands-on practice in building a LinkedIn profile and crafting an elevator pitch.
Facilitator: Dr. Caitlin Walker
Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Dr. Caitlin C. Walker (Dr. C) has supported under-resourced communities in Texas for over a decade. In addition to founding coaching and consulting companies aimed at driving social impact, she has held senior and executive leadership positions in civic engagement, healthcare, tech, and business leadership organizations. She is also the founder and president of Levántatech, a Latina serving tech-literacy nonprofit where she promotes ensuring skilled workforces and flourishing economies.
