Self-Care Saturday: Your Story Matters, A Women’s Storytelling Workshop
Discover your authentic voice in this transformative workshop designed for women ready to share their stories.
Join For Her for a gentle, creative workshop where women are invited to explore the power of their personal stories through mindfulness, writing, and art. Together, we’ll reclaim our voices, reframe the narratives we’ve inherited or internalized, and begin writing new, hope-filled chapters rooted in strength and growth. Using the metaphor of a tree, participants will reflect on where they’ve been, what they’ve overcome, and who they are becoming. No prior writing or art experience is needed; just come as you are.
Facilitator: Megan Pope
Megan Pope is a Professor at San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas, where she teaches Speech Communication courses. With over 15 years of higher education experience, she is an award-winning communication educator and accomplished public speaking coach. Her expertise extends beyond the classroom as a certified mindfulness meditation teacher. Megan’s passion is helping individuals discover their authentic voice and share their stories with confidence. When she’s not teaching, Megan enjoys gaming, meditating, and writing about topics close to her heart. She is married with three bonus kids and continues to champion the belief that everyone has a story worth telling.
