ENCORE PRESENTATION! From Kindergarten to Graduation: Tips to Support Your Child Every Step of the Way
Join our facilitators as they explore how to navigate transitions for students. This session will provide tips to help parents support the academic and emotional needs of their children throughout the K-12 experience. If you’ve ever wondered about how you can better support your child with homework, building and maintaining friendships, or communicating with your child’s teachers you will walk away with concrete strategies that support but also encourage your child to be his/her own advocate.
Facilitators: Lindsey Bendele & Jenny Fox
Jenny Fox has 6 years of experience in elementary and secondary education. She is well versed in the learning needs of all students as well as science, ELA and special education curriculum.
Lindsey Bendele has 8 years of experience in elementary, and secondary education, especially in the areas of math, history and special education. She also brings a mother’s perspective to the work with first hand knowledge of how she helps her own children feel supported and empowered in a school setting.
