Her Table: Mindful Communication with Jen Hardy

July 5, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Free

Her Table is a shared meal that provides an opportunity for women to connect over good food and meaningful conversation. Dinner, babysitting, and all materials will be provided. Friends are always welcome!

Workshop Topic: Mindful Communication

At Her Table on July 5th, join us for a transformative workshop on mindful communication, where we will uncover the secrets to becoming a more conscious communicator, empowering you to forge deeper connections, resolve conflicts, and cultivate understanding. We will unravel the intricate web of thoughts, emotions, and beliefs that shape our communication patterns. By developing an awareness of our own unconscious biases, assumptions, and triggers, we can begin to navigate conversations with greater clarity and empathy.

Discover how to harness the power of nonverbal cues, such as body language and tone of voice, to convey authenticity and build trust in your relationships. Learn to recognize and interpret the subtle cues that indicate the unspoken needs and desires of others, fostering a profound sense of connection and understanding.

Through practical exercises, insightful discussions, and the science of communication, you will acquire valuable tools and techniques to break through communication barriers and establish open, honest, and meaningful dialogues. Whether you seek to enhance your personal relationships, excel in your professional endeavors, or simply foster a more harmonious existence, this workshop will equip you with the skills to communicate mindfully and nurture thriving connections.

Facilitator: Jen Hardy

We’re honored to have Jen Hardy join us to facilitate this Her Table! Jen, a former educator and state championship soccer coach, followed her heart to find her true passion. After excelling in her previous roles, she yearned for new achievements. Exploring different avenues, she discovered her calling in education and coaching, outside of public schools. Jen believes that lifelong learning is crucial for true mastery. Jen’s core belief is in taking responsibility for our lives and acknowledging our unknowns. This mindset drives her dedication to personal growth and sharing her knowledge. Alongside her professional pursuits, Jen co-founded a nonprofit called Dangerously C.U.T.E, aimed at empowering women and girls against violence and disempowerment by teaching them to be their own first line of defense.

Dinner: Provided by Thrive Church

Gluten-free and vegetarian options will be available.
