Journaling Workshop: Planting Seeds of Self-Love
Journaling looks different for all of us: Some may adhere to a traditional diary form, and some may experiment with such trends as junk journaling and bullet journaling. However you journal, or whether you do at all, you are welcome to join us for Planting Seeds of Self-Love, a class that thoughtfully explores how to integrate long-lasting self-love into our personal journaling practices, and therefore, our lives.
“The main thing,” poet Grace Paley wrote, “is when you get up in the morning, you must take your heart in your two hands.” This two-hour session will create a foundation for “taking [our hearts] in [our] hands” and acknowledging all of the beauty that beats therein. Whether you’ve journaled for years or are just exploring the world of words, please join this vital time of discovery and reflection, as we celebrate and sing ourselves in the pages of our journals. You will come away with a guide to continue your practice and to frame your world with words of hope.
Facilitated by Michelle Grajeda
