Self-Care Saturday: Therapeutic Yoga
Join For Her for Self-Care Saturday to prioritize your mental and physical well-being.
This interactive workshop will help you learn practical tools and simple skills that you can incorporate into your everyday life in order to help you learn how to reduce your stress level and improve your lifestyle nourishment. You will be guided through a meditation practice, breath work, and a gentle & adaptive yoga sequence. Plus you will be encouraged to explore emotional and psychological aspects that may be blocking your ability to nourish yourself, and create a more balanced life-style that you do not need to escape from.
Wear comfy clothes and bring your water bottle and yoga mat if you’ve got one. Friends are welcome!

Facilitator Bio:
We’re honored to partner with Maria Luisa Salinas to bring this workshop to the For Her community. Maria Luisa is a bilingual and bicultural psychotherapist with over 30 years of professional experience. Her work includes helping women, survivors of childhood trauma, family violence, and domestic violence. Maria Luisa is also a Registered Yoga Teacher trained in trauma-informed practice.
