Workshop Topic: Domestic Violence, Power, & Control

At Her Table on October 4th, join us for a transformative and empowering workshop designed to shed light on the critical issues of domestic violence, the cycle of abuse, power dynamics, and control within relationships. At this workshop, we aim to foster awareness, dialogue, and practical strategies to combat domestic violence while promoting healthier, more equitable relationships.

Facilitator: Teresa Bethany, LMFT

We’re honored to have our own Teresa Bethany join us to facilitate this Her Table! Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, Teresa Bethany earned her Master’s in Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. For the past six years, she worked in a nonviolence program leading both individual and group sessions focusing on ending generational family violence patterns. As our full-time on-site therapist, she helps women in our program by providing individual counseling, facilitating therapy groups, and leading restorative workshops.
