Trauma Informed Yoga
Please note that yoga will now be held 6:30 -7:30pm
This accessible class welcomes all, regardless of experience, and will focus on breath awareness, grounding, and mindful movement. We’ll begin with gentle techniques to settle the nervous system before moving through a dynamic flow with adaptive options for each pose. Throughout the practice, there will be a continued focus on breath and body awareness to support confidence and connection. Each class will have unique elements while maintaining a familiar structure to encourage growth and ease. The session will end with reflection, integration, and rest, allowing time to acknowledge any physical, mental, or emotional shifts.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring your water bottle and yoga mat.
Sessions will be held at the For Her community center every Tuesday and the last Saturday of each month. Friends are always welcome. Free onsite babysitting is provided.

For Her provides free onsite babysitting, and our babysitter is background-checked and CPR, first-aid, and Montessori-certified! Babies can stay with their mothers, and older children are welcome to sit in our living room and read, play on their phone, or do homework, etc. Due to the sensitive nature of some content and to keep a safe and relaxing space for our community members, children aren’t allowed to sit in on workshops and support groups.
We kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible if your plans change so we can release childcare spots to other moms.
